Hi fools!
How are you? I'm feeling springy, hopeful, optimistic, social, and warm lately—embracing my foolish side!
April is my favorite month since it's my birthday month—I woke up to an inbox full of birthday-coupon emails, which made me so happy!
March Care Package!
This March Care Package will be brief since I'm currently at full capacity with work and life.
Yes, I know, it's already April—the joke's on me for running behind! I'd planned to send this out this morning when I realized how late it was, but ended up prioritizing work and dinner with my bestie. Now it's even later, but I have to double email you because I have news!
May I share some proud big-sister news?
My little sister Rachel crushed her college acceptance season!
I can't believe she's about to graduate high school—but what I can believe is that she got into great colleges, since she's so smart and interesting, so creative and talented, and so warm and kind.
I am super proud to share that she got an incredible number of acceptances, and we narrowed them down to:
dum dum dum 🥁
Macaulay Honors at Hunter College, Hamilton College, Wesleyan University, and Cornell University.
We'll be visiting all the campuses before she makes her decision! I'll admit I'm trying to sway her toward Wesleyan since I loved my time there so much.
When she got into Wesleyan, I bawled for a full day.

I'm so relieved these colleges are affordable and that we're nearly done with this long chapter of college and scholarship applications.
I can finally open up some brain capacity—phew! I’ll have more time to write soon!
Other Joyful Moments from March included:
Energizing social workouts, yoga, and Pilates classes
Women's Day celebrations—complete with Clara's brave sacrifice of white pants to red wine and my sweet friends who didn't mind me nodding off during late dinners
Deep Cuts author talk and Reading Rhythms party
Delightful days exploring Brooklyn with my Brooklyn crew
Substack in the city event hosted by
& met fellow Substackers and caught up with Kim!Sweet afternoon playing with Jonathan's dog at his new place
Lovely social walks through Central Park
Family strolls together
Wonderful dinners with Stephanie, Liv, Emma, Courtney, and Debbie
Gypsy on Broadway (once wasn't enough!)
Matilda the Musical (twice!) at my sister's school
Jennifer's PhD graduation—I was a proud crying mess
Spring has returned to Central Park!
Despite being deeply focused on my to-do list, I'm amazed at how much social time I managed to fit in! I feel like I almost canceled every single one of these plans? Thank you, caring friends, for getting me out of my cave!

Also, I'm here to chat about all the things I watched and read—listed right here.
All Feels / All Fours Survey
Lastly, I forgot to include our next community survey in my last post about the book All Fours.
Here's the latest and greatest Katya Cares community survey based on All Fours!
Take this survey!!
Take it to find out if you're a Parker or a Driver. IYKYK. A lot of my friends who read the book with me didn’t know which one they were—so, naturally, I made a survey.
What am I? Thanks for asking!
I'm a Driver in theory, but in real life I'm a Passenger Princess 👸.
That’s it for me for a bit! I won’t be sending any more emails until mid April. You get a breather!
Meanwhile, let me know what brings you joy these days! Send Rachel all your congrats (she deserves them!), and share your own good news.
Would love to hear what's lighting you up this spring.
Love you all! I’m off to bed,
Katya
a joyful March!!
congrats rachel!!!!!!
