First of all — thank you for the mention! It truly made my day! 🤎
Second of all — how do you enjoy the book “joy of connections”. Seems quite interesting to me and I believe it’s on my reading list. Let me know your thoughts.
Third of all — are your bookclubs in person meetings? If so, are you planning to host any here? I’d love to join! 🌻
1. Of course! I had to give you a shoutout—I loved your poem! 🧡
2. I enjoyed The Joy of Connections! I’ll be reviewing it soon when I write about loneliness. I actually got the book for free at a reading party and even hosted a book club discussion on it. I probably would’ve read it anyway since I follow Dr. Ruth. It’s a quick self-help read—nothing more, nothing less—but it gave me a nostalgic feeling, like advice from my grandma. Some of Dr. Ruth’s insights really stuck with me.
3. I host small in-person book clubs in NYC, but I’m really enjoying the current book conversation via my chat. I’m thinking about hosting virtual book discussions for each book—would you be interested in joining one? 📚
I read Good Material so quickly—Dolly Alderton’s writing just flew by! George I’m savoring slowly, enjoying every moment. What didn’t you like about The Midnight Library? I’m discussing it with my book club in early December, hehe. Most of my friends liked it overall but had some critiques, too!
